Walk or Leash training puppies can prove very beneficial as they can grasp the training much faster which makes it easier to discipline and teach them. Opting for a Harness over a collar for a pup is a great option, as collars put a considerable amount of strain around the neck area when pulled which can prove very fatal for the puppy as its neck muscles are comparatively even more weaker than an adult dog and they can suffer from muscle discomfort around the neck or shoulder blade area and in the worst case scenario a collapsed trachea.

Choosing the right type and size of Harness allows the puppy to be comfortable and move more easily/ naturally and as puppies tend to be very active and they move or run around very much, a harness gives the owner more control which can make the training process much easier. Always remember to be patient and take it slow when introducing the puppy to a harness as this will make the pup more comfortable and open to wearing one without any problem.
